Alternative Provision KS4

1st Step Education & Training focus on offering vocational interactive qualifications in a realistic work environment so students are able learn new skills, practice in a professional environment and learn customer service skills. We offer interactive lessons with a focus on interaction and activity. Learning by doing. Our low class numbers and high staff ratios place us in a unique position to offer a calming and soothing work environment. Our courses focus on engagement, attendance and learning a valuable trade skill.

We offer ASDAN qualifications to supplement our in house courses making our learning accessible to a wide range of learners.

Our courses are assessed on an ongoing basis on a three tier pass system for each component. 

Skill can be completed to the following assessment criteria:

WI- With support.

SI-  Semi independent 

I-    Independent
